Sjögren's Syndrome Studied by Fluoresent Antibody Technique

I．緒言

　著者は先に，ショーグレン症候群患者血清の免疫グロブリン3成分を免疫拡散板法を用いて定量し，γ—Gとγ—Aとが増加しており，本症候群の成立には自己免疫機転が関係しているであろうと発表した^1）。

　そこで，今回は自己免疫疾患ならば，生体のどの組織を抗原として発生したものであるかを探究するべく螢光抗体法^2）を用いて，抗原には耳下腺と胃分泌腺とを選び，実験を行なつたのでその成績を報告する。

An indirect fluorescent antibody studies were conducted on the sera of patients with Sjögren's syndrome, with a view to ascertain the autoim-munological mechanism in the etiology of the disease. The parotid and the gastric mucosa of adults served as antigen.

1) The sera of 3 out of 6 patients reacted positive when the parotid served as antigen. Fluorescence was present in the cell matrix of the epithelium lining the secretory duct of the parotid.

2) The sera of 6 patients consistently proved negative when the gastric mucosa served as antigen.
