球後視神経炎，レーベル病患者の視野の回復について—視野の病態（II）

The Fate of Visual Field Defect in Retrobulbar Neuritis and Familial Optic Atrophy (Leber)

I．はじめに

　視交叉部に対する腫瘍の圧迫時と，その圧迫除去時の視野の微細な変動について報告し，考察を行なつたが^1），このさい圧迫が比較的長期間にわたつても減圧により，機能を回復し得る線維群の存在すること，減圧直後よりこれら線維群は速やかに機能を回復し得ること，および視神経中隔にかこまれた束単位の線維群の機能が残存する可能性のあることを明らかにした。

　今回は機械的圧迫でなく，炎症（ないし変性）疾患の視野の回復，特に乳頭黄斑線維群について，その代表例を報告する。

The clinical course of favorable recovery of retrobulbar neuritis and familial optic atrophy (Leber) was followed up by means of static perimetry.

In a case with acute retrobulbar optic neuritis with bilateral central scotoma, the depressed central visual field "rose up" to attain the nor-mal level within a few days through systemic steroid therapy.

In a case with Leber's optic atrophy, the depressed central visual field "rose up" gradual-ly following removal of perichiasmal adhesion through craniotomy.
