涙嚢篩骨洞吻合術の遠隔調査成績

Long-term Followup of Dacryocysto-ethmoidostomy

I．緒言

　涙嚢鼻腔吻合術に対比するに足る涙嚢篩骨洞吻合術は，当時長崎大学耳鼻咽喉科教授であつた後藤敏郎氏によつて考察されて以来^1）〜3）17年経過したが，ようやく眼科医の間にも普及の傾向にある術式である^4）〜10）。すぐれた着想であるこの術式を検討するため，今回われわれは16名18例について長期遠隔成績を調査したのでその結果を報告し考察を試みたい。

　症例はいずれも長崎大学医学部附属病院眼科およびその関連病院において手術が行なわれたもので，術式は後藤の原法および若干の変法が用いられた。

Evaluation of long-term surgical effects of dacryocystoethmoidostomy after the method of Goto was conducted. The present study includ-ed 15 patients (18 instances) followed up for 1.5 to 15 years averaging 4.1 years.

Postsurgical obstruction of the lacrimal pas-sage occurred in 6 patients. Rhinological compli-cations as Ethmoiditis or Hypertrophic Rhinitis were insignificant. Analysis of factors for post-operative obstruction indicated possible improve-ments in the surgical technique.
