第一色覚異常者のGenetic Carrierの色覚について

Studies on Genetic Carriers of protan type of color vision defect

緒言

　臨床遺伝学に於て保因者（genetic carrier）を発見し得るか否かの問題は今日多くの遺伝疾患について研究され，幾つかの疾患に於て保因者の形質と考えられるものが明らかにされている。"遺伝的保因者"とはNeel^1）によると，"正常から全然，或は像んの少ししか偏つていないけれども，遺伝性疾患を伝える潜在的な力をもつている個体"と定義されている。これまで知られた保因者の形質は保因者に特異な所見というものをもたないため，家系調査の裏付けによつて保因者の性質と認めることが出来るに過ぎない。言い換えれば正常からの偏りの所見だけから保因者と決めることは今日未だ殆んど不可能の状態である。色覚異常の遺伝もNeelの成書では"色覚を最小限に障碍された女性"と記載されているに止まつている。尚Wieland, Schmidt, Walls, Crone等によつて論議されているが，保因者の形質とされるものに一致を欠いており，本邦ではこれに関する業績を見ない今日，この方面への関心がもつと亢まらねばならないと思う。私共は学童の集団検診に際して発見された色覚異常の家系からヘテロ接合体の女性について，スペクトルム長波長側色光に於ける比視感度を測定し，有意の所見を得た。又この方法が色覚異常の遺伝研究に欠くことの出来ないことを確信するに到つたのでここに報告し，諸先輩の御批判をお願いする次第である。

The 213 color-normal girls, and the mothers of the color-defective girls were studied with the aid of Ishihara plates, Nagel's Anomaloscope and Flickerphotometer.

Results : Spectral sensitivity of the proto-heterozygotes, measured by use of Flickerphoto-meter white and red monochromatic light (634.8 mμ), shows the slight decrease in lumi-nosity of the red light, but no any sharp demarcation between the sensitivity of normals and proto-heterozygotes, and no abnormalities in Rayleigh-equation and Ishihara plates in all 10 proto-heterozygotes were recognized.
