糖尿病患者の白内障手術後にみられる前房形成不全について

Shallowing of the Anterior Chamber after Cataract Operation of Diabetics

I．緒言

　糖尿病患者の白内障手術後に起こる合併症にはいろいろあるが，最近多くの人達によつて問題にされているのは，術後にみられる前房形成不全である。糖尿病患者は手術的操作が加えられた場合，正常の人よりも虹彩炎を起こしやすい。したがつて前房形成不全が長びいた問題には虹彩前癒着を起こしやすく，そのために続発緑内障を起こす頻度は正常の場合よりも多くなり，視力の予後に大きく関係する。

　しかしながら今までの報告をみてみても，どのような場合に起こりやすいのか，その原因はなんであるか，そしてそのような場合の対策はどうしたらよいかなどについてくわしくふれたものは皆無である。私達はその点について調査検討し加えた結果，いささかの知見を得たのでここに報告する。

The postoperative course after intracapsular surgery in 41 diabetic subjects has been analyzedwith particular attention to loss or shallowing of the anterior chamber. Findings in 135 similarly operated eyes in nondiabetic subjects served as controls.

(1) Persistently absent anterior chamber over 5 days after surgery and abrupt flat anterior chamber have been observed in 12.2% and 17.1 % respectively. The incidence approached 51% if accidents occurring within the 5 th day are included.
