Betamethasone点眼の家兎眼の房水動態およびOcular Rigidityに及ぼす影響について

The Effects of Topical Betamethasone on Intraocular Fluid Dynamics in Rabbits

I．緒言

　コルチコステロイドの点眼および全身投与により眼圧の上昇をみたというMcLean^1），François^2），Goldmann^3）等の多くの臨床報告が注目され，最近コルチコステロイドの点眼によつて生ずる眼圧の上昇反応およびその房水動態に及ぼす影響について多くの優れた実験報告が出されている^{4）〜13）26）〜30）}。また実験動物を用いてのステロイド投与による眼圧の反応性についての報告は少なく^{14）〜16）}，その成績もまちまちである。今回，われわれは家兎眼に0.1％Betamethasoneを点眼し，眼圧および房水動態に関して些かの知見を得たのでここに報告する。

The effects of topical betamethasone on int-raocular fluid dynamics were studied in rab-bits. Twelve male albino rabbits weighing approximately 2kg. were used for the present study. For one week prior to the experiment tonography and Schioetz tonometry were per-formed every other day. The mean of all the measurements was considered to be base-linevalues. Unsatisfactory tonograms ware exclu-ded from the present study. All through the experiment the same Schioetz tonometer stan-dardized in Bonn University, West Germany, was used. Tonography was done with a Sch-warzer electronic tonometer connected with a Schwarzer recorder.
