  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

With the aid of the continuous perfusion apparatus, electric manometer and ultramicr-oburette of Dallmagne, the ocular rigidity K of Friedenwald of different animals (such as ra-bbit, pig, sheep, cow and horse) and man were studied at various intraocular pressures

Above the 30 mmHg, the K is in inverse proportion to the eye volume regardless of the species of animals.

The K of man shows its maximum around 10mmHg, and diminishes slightly with the rise of the intraocular pressure. But in general it is in inverse proportion to the eye volume.
