The ocular rigidity and the intraocular pressure were studied by the 5.5 G.R. and 10 G.R. load of Shioetz's tonometer in 420 eyes of healthy 212 persons. (30 under 10 yr. old, 90 of First decade, 45 of 2nd~3rd decade and 47 over 4th decade).

As a result, the ocular rigidity are increased and the intraocular pressure are decreased with older age.

The coefficiency of mean ocular rigidity were 0.0216 and the intraocular pressure were 15.85 mm.Hg.
