眼科・耳鼻咽喉科相互紹介患者の統計的観察

A Statistical Study on Cases Referred between Ophthalmology and ENT, Osaka City University Hospital

I．緒言

　俗に「目と鼻の間」といわれるように，目と鼻は解剖学的にも密接な関係にあるため，両科の疾患には関連性が大きく，眼科と耳鼻咽喉科の共同観察を必要とする機会にしばしば遭遇する。そこで，われわれは昭和36〜40年の5年間における大阪市大眼科受診患者について，眼科から耳鼻咽喉科へ，逆に耳鼻咽喉科から眼科に，両科において疾患に関係ありとして，紹介され受診した患者につき，主として眼科，耳鼻咽喉科診断および相互紹介時の主訴等を中心として統計的に観察したので，その成績を簡単に報告する。

A statistical study was made on cases re-ferred between Ophthalmology and ENT, Osa-ka City University Hospital from 1961 to 1965 with special reference to diagnosis and chief complaints.

The results obtained were as follows :

1) One hundred eleven cases (0.26%) out of 44133 cases surveyed were referred to ENT from Ophthalmology and 129 cases (0.29%) were referred to Ophthalmology from ENT.

2) Forty-six cases (41.4%) out of 111 cases referred from Ophthalmology to ENT showed disorders related to ENT, while 69 cases (53.5%) out of 129 cases referred from ENT to Ophthalmology showed disorders related to Ophthalmology.
