  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Fluorescein angiography is discussed as to its basic nature and clinical applicability with presentation of representative cases In pulse-less disease (Figg. 1-4) the impaired retinal blood flow was clearly demonstrated with this method as characterised by excessively long duration of laminar flow of retinal vein (Fig.1) and by restriction of effective retinal flow to within a small area around the optic disc (Fig. 3 & 4). Presence of microaneurysms, vascular proliferation in front of the optic disc and caliber fluctuation of retinal venules could also be demonstrated with this method.
