眼球保存液に関する生化学的研究—第8報：高分子電解質としての酸性ムコ多糖類，及び微量活性物質としてのアスコルビン酸の応用

Biochemical studies on the preservative medium for donor eye. Report 8 : The addition of mucopolysaccharides and ascorbic acid in balanced mix solution.

I．緒言

　前報に於いて液体保存法に対する人工的混合塩主類生理的平衡溶液を作成し，液体化学上の立場から種々検討した。

　併し実験上，細胞外相の液体組成特に房水組成に近い混合塩類液のみでは，角膜特に実質の膨潤防止に対しては尚不充分である。

Chondroitin Sulphate (type A), chondroitin sulphate (type C), and keratopolysulphate we-re added to balanced mix salt solution which has been previously reported.

The above mucopolysaccharides extracted from elasmoblanch were quite similar to those extracted chemically from mammalian cornea and were effective for prevention of corneal swelling up to one week storage.

The addition of ascorbic acid was effective for maintenance of corneal structure up toone week as donor corneal graft.
