当帰の家兎眼圧に対する作用機序についての基礎的研究，特に血圧に対する作用を中心にして

Fundamental studies over the hypotensive action of Ligusticum acutilobum

Ⅰ．緒言

　和漢薬中には芳香植物に属するものが多く，当帰も亦芳香薬中最も広く使用されて居る。本教室の岡田氏は当帰の家兎眼圧に及ぼす影響について研究発表され^1），著明な血圧下降作用を見た。当帰の作用については古くから本草綱目^2）等によれば，血行を良くし，又，鎮静鎮痛の効ありと記載されて居る。最近に於いては当帰の各成分を抽出し，その薬理作用の実験的研究の報告もある^3）4）。即ち，大脳の鎮静及び麻酔，呼吸機能の初期の亢奮及びその後の麻痺，血圧及び体温の下降等であるが，その作用機序については尚深く追求されて居ない。同僚岡田によれば，当帰が家兎眼圧に対して下降作用の確認されたことから，眼圧に最も深い関係有りとされておる循環系に対する作用，特に血圧下降の機序について，いくつかの実験を行い，2,3の新しい知見を得ることが出来るのでここに報告したい。

Rabbit experiments were conducted to elu-cidate the nature of systemic action of aqu-eous extract of Ligusticum acutilobum, which is a time-honoured specific antidote against glaucoma in the armatorium of oriental med-icine.

Intravenous injection of the extract of an equivalent of 0.2gm of root of Ligusticum acutilobum per kilogramme body weight in rabbits resulted in prompt decrease of intrao-cular pressure which could be ascribed to si-multaneous decrease of systemic blood press-ure.

Electroencephalographic studies supplied no significant data to account for the observed sedative action of the extract.
