　Culz等（1960）によつて合成された，NyldrinはVerinaという商品名で最近藤沢薬品より発売された。このものは交感神経作動アミン誘導体で次の構造式を有している。

　その血管拡張作用は筋肉内の血管を撰択的に拡張し血流量を増加させるが，皮膚内の血管には殆んど影響しないという。三国教授等（1962）は血圧正常者の網膜動脈拡張を計測し，又これと全身血圧（BrAD）及び網膜中心動脈血圧（NAD）の値から網膜血流量の増大することを認めている．

Ⅰ) 5mg. of Nylidrin was injected intramu-scularly in 4 healthy persons and 6 patients of essential hypertension. Systemic andretinal blood pressure was measured at due intervals before and after injection.

The mean retinal blood pressure, defined as (0.42× pulse pressure+diastolic pressure), was compared with the expected value cal-culated from the systemic blood pressure by the following formula:Expect RAPm=O.502(Br.APm-RVP)+RVP±2σ2σ=10mmHg. RVP: retinal vein pressure.
