タフルプロストおよびトラボプロストの12週間点眼による自覚症状，治療満足度の検討

要約　目的：タフルプロストとトラボプロストを，それぞれ順序を変えて12週間点眼したときの満足度と自覚症状の報告。対象と方法：本研究は，7大学を含む29医療施設の共同研究として行われ，195例のうち脱落例を除く174例174眼を対象とした。男性71例，女性103例で，年齢は38～94歳，平均70歳である。原発開放隅角緑内障が167例，高眼圧症が7例であり，無作為に症例を2群に分けた。まず，0.0015％タフルプロストまたは0.004％トラボプロスト1日1回の点眼を2週間行い，これに続いて，タフルプロスト群ではトラボプロストを，トラボプロスト群ではタフルプロストを2週間点眼した。それぞれの点眼薬につき，満足度と自覚症状をアンケートで調査した。結果：タフルプロスト点眼とトラボプロスト点眼に伴う自覚症状に有意差はなかった。治療満足度は，タフルプロスト点眼が有意に好まれ，容器の違いがその原因であると推定された。結論：タフルプロスト点眼とトラボプロスト点眼に伴う自覚症状に差はなかった。タフルプロスト点眼が有意に好まれた。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report satisfaction and subjective symptoms after instillation of tafluprost followed by travoprost, or vice versa, for 12 weeks each. Cases and Method：This prospective study was made by 29 institutions including 7 universities. We evaluated 174 eyes of 174 cases after eliminating 21 eyes out of 195 cases. The series comprised 71 males and 103 females. The age ranged from 38 to 94 years, average 70 years. There were 167 cases of primary open-angle glaucoma and 7 cases of ocular hypertension. The cases were randomly divided into 2 groups. One group received instillation of 0.0015％ tafluprost for 2 weeks and then instillation of 0.004％ travoprost for 2 weeks. The other group received travoprost followed by travoprost for 2 weeks each. Satisfaction and subjective symptoms were evaluated by questionnaire. Results：There was no difference in subjective symptoms between tafluprost and travoprost. Tafluprost was significantly preferred over travoprost regarding satisfaction, presumably due to difference in the shape of commercially available ophthalmic solution. Conclusion：No difference was present between tafluprost and travoprost regarding subjective symptoms. Tafluprost was favored by the majority of patients.
