涙洗通過良好の流涙症に対する治療

Treatment of epiphora in eyes with patent lacrimal passage

　目的：涙道洗浄の成績が良好な流涙症の涙道チューブによる治療成績の報告。対象と方法：流涙を主訴として受診した患者10例11眼。全例で涙液メニスカスが高く，涙道色素通過試験が陽性で，涙道洗浄の成績が良好であった。全例に局所麻酔下でヌンチャク型シリコーンチューブを挿入し，約1か月後に抜去した。結果：11眼中8眼で導涙機能が正常化し自覚症状が改善した。結論：器質的閉塞がない流涙症に対し涙道チューブ挿入は有効である。

　Purpose：To describe the outcome of treatment of epiphora in eyes with patent lacrimal passage. Cases and Method：Eleven eyes of 10 patients were treated. They sought medical advice for epiphora. All the eyes showed well-formed tear meniscus and absence of obstruction in the lacrimal passage by drainage test. All the eyes received silicone intubation for about one month. Results：Eight out of 11 eyes showed improved lacrimal function and subjective findings. Conclusion：Lacrimal intubation may be effective for epiphora in eyes with patent lacrimal passage.
