I．はじめに

　脳神経系に於ける悪性リンパ腫の研究の歴史は長く，既に多くの優れた報告や総説がある^1-5）。しかし悪性リンパ腫には未解決の問題が今日なお多く残されており，その詳細な検討はむしろ今後の課題である。本稿では今後の研究方向の基盤を求めつつ，まず著者らの属する脳研究所の剖検例の実態を記載し，本邦及び諸外国の研究についての文献的考察を併せて総説する。

Reviewing the studies of malignant lymphomain literatures, several problems were discussed con-cerning the clinical and pathological characteristicssuch as the classification, incidence, localization anddistribution of the primary and non-primary intra-cranial mahgnant lymphomas. Additionally,19autopsy cases of intracranial malignant lymphomaexamined in our institute, including 7 confirmedand 4 probable primary Qnes, were summarized.Some possible approaches in future to the intra-cranial malignant lymphoma were also discussed.
