I．はじめに

　今回の日本神経病理学会総会の機会に，私の講演に多大の時間を与えて下さいまして誠に有難うございました。

　周知のように肝脳疾患に関しては，日本の研究者たちが多大の貢献をなしております。猪瀬^1）は従来安易にWilsonと診断されていたものから，いわゆる特殊型（猪瀬型）を剔快してにせ物を追放されましたし，沖中一門^2）は銅代謝の研究に，白木ら^3,4）は類瘢痕型の確立に立派な業績を残されました。その上アジアの米食地帯は肝疾患の宝庫であります。この地帯にWilsonが多いかどうか知りませんが，教室の石崎^5）はタイ国でWilsonを4例も発見してまいりました。

Clinical and pathomorphological data were presented of Wilson's disease (four), so-called abdominal Wilson (three), Inose and pseudo-ulegy-ric types (one case, respectively): of these cases, including related and control ones, copper content of various organs and parts of the brain was esti mated by means of atomic absorption electropho-tometry. The conclusions obtained were as follo-wing.

1) From the viewpoint of tissue copper distri-bution Wilson's disease tallies with abdominal Wilson perfectly, and does differ from Inose or pseudo-ulegyric type of hepato-cerebral diseases, and simple hepatic coma.
