ChlorpromazineとPhenacetinとの各種精神病に対する併用療法の経験

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE OF THE COMBINED ADMINISTRATION OF CHLORPROMAZINE AND PHENACETIN IN THE VARIOUS MENTAL DISORDERS

　私共は一両年前から各種精神病に対し，Chlor-promazineとPhenacetin，時には又抗Hista-min剤，或はこれ等3者の併用を行つているが，臨床的成績から見てこれ等の併用療用はChlor-promazineの単独使用よりは鎮静作用も強力であり，各種精神病に対し比較的速効的な臨床像の改善が屡々見られるのを経験している。昨年私共^1）が発表したChlorpromazineとMeprobamateの併用療法も有力な方法であるが，これらの治療方法は互に相補的に使用することによつて，従来よりも一段と優れた治療成績が出ることを期待できると考えている。

　さてChlorpromazineとPhenacetin （時には抗Histaminもの3者合併）の併用を施行した端緒は，Chlorpromazine服用中の分裂病患者が感冒で発熱した場合に，下熱剤としてPhe-nacetinや抗Histamin剤を服用せしめると，単に下熱という点で有効なだけでなく，精神症状がかなり急速に改善されるのを屡々経験したからである。

The clinical effect of the combined administ-ration of Chlorpromazine "Wintermin" (made by Shionogi Seiyaku Co. Ltd.) and Phenacetin upon 18 cases with various mental disorders was discribed in the present report.

The results are as follows:

1) Of the 9 cases of schizophrenia, 3 cases showed complete remission; 6 cases did hardly any improvement.

2) Of the 5 cases of depression or depressive state, 4 cases showed complete remission, and one case did remarkable improvement.

3) One case of mania showed complete remission.

4) One case of atypical endogenous psycho-sis showed complete remission.

5) The clinical experience makes us surmise that the combined administration of chlor-promazine and phenacetin upon the various endogenous mental disorders is superior to the simple medication of chlorpromazine.

6) The effect of the combined administra-tion on one case of child neurosis was hardly recognized.

One case of psychopathia showed remark-able improvement during the administration. However, this case was ready to show a ten-dency of relapse after the termination of the treatment.
