  • Look Inside

The case of a 19 year-old woman with corrected TGA accompanied by Patent ductus arteriosus and regurgitation of the left-sided Atrioventricular valve, i. e. Tricuspid type, is reported here.

In most patients with corrected TGA, both ventricles are parallel and perpendicular to the stenum as revealed by echocardiogram. However, despite the fact that our patient had corrected TGA, autopsy revealed that the anatomical right ventricle was located slightly posterior to the sternum due to clockwise lotation.
