◆要旨:立体内視鏡手術において3Dディスプレイを観察する際の輻輳調節矛盾に起因する視覚疲労を低減するため,産学連携で開発した3次非球面位相板を用いて臨床の場で評価を行った.医師と技師の27名に対し,3次非球面位相板または比較用眼鏡レンズを組み入れた3Dメガネを装用した条件で手術前後に主観評価アンケートを183症例実施した.手術前後のアンケートの差の平均スコアは,Nausea(気持ち悪さ),Oculomotor(眼球運動),Total Severity(総合評価)の評価項目において3次非球面位相板の有無で有意差のある結果がみられた.3次非球面位相板がもつ設計効果により視覚疲労の原因となる輻輳調節矛盾が低減することで,立体映像による視覚疲労の軽減に繋がることが示唆された.
In order to reduce visual fatigue caused by convergence accommodation discrepancies when viewing a 3D display during stereoscopic endoscopic surgery, we conducted an evaluation in a clinical setting using a tertiary aspheric phase plate developed in collaboration with industry and academia. Subjective evaluation questionnaires were administered to 27 doctors and technicians in 183 cases before and after surgery while wearing 3D glasses incorporating a tertiary aspherical phase plate or comparative eyeglass lenses. The average score of the difference in questionnaires before and after surgery showed significant differences in the evaluation items of Nausea, Oculomotor, and Total Severity between the presence and absence of a tertiary aspherical phase plate. It has been suggested that the design effect of the third-order aspherical phase plate reduces the accommodative vergence contradiction that causes visual fatigue, leading to a reduction in visual fatigue caused by stereoscopic images.
