Task shifting and task sharing in interprofessional collaboration

「医師の働き方改革に関する検討会」と「医師の働き方改革を進めるためのタスク・シフト/シェアの推進に関する検討会」での議論を経て，今後タスク・シフト/シェアをさらに推進するための施策が打ち出されていく。病院内でタスク・シフト/シェアを効果的に推進するには，タスク・シフト/シェアが具体的にどのような概念を指していて，なぜ導入が求められているのかをまず管理者がよく理解し，さらに病院全体で推進していく協力体制を築く必要がある。タスク・シフト/シェアを通じて医師の労働時間を削減することだけに目がいくことが多いが，それが最終目標ではない。タスク・シフト/シェアの推進を通じて達成すべきは，医療界全体の歪みを補正することで医療を効率化し，より安全な医療提供を通じて，究極的にはその恩恵を患者に還元することである。

After much debate in meetings held by the Japanese government regarding work style reform for Japanese physicians，policies that encourage further implementation of task shifting within Japanese hospitals are expected to be considered. It is essential to fully understand the concepts of task shifting and task sharing and to build a supportive，cooperative system within the hospital to implement task shifting effectively. The goal of task shifting and task sharing is much more than just reducing long working hours of Japanese physicians. By correcting distortions in the medical community and by making the health system more efficient，medical care should be delivered more safely，and ultimately，it should benefit the patient.
