デジタル技術の進化により生まれたデジタルバイオマーカーは，神経・精神科領域の診断やモニタリングを変革しつつある。例えば，神経変性疾患の運動評価や精神疾患での行動パターンの追跡などさまざまな場面で活用が試みられており，また，臨床試験の評価項目としては既に利用実績がある。客観評価を可能とするデジタルバイオマーカーを従来の臨床検査と適切に組み合わせることで，より包括的な患者理解に貢献するだろう。

Abstract

The digital biomarkers that have emerged from advances in digital technologies are expected to transform diagnostics and monitoring in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. Applications are being explored in various contexts, such as motor assessments in neurodegenerative diseases and behavioral tracking in psychiatric disorders. Moreover, digital biomarkers have already been used as endpoints in clinical trials. Combining these objective digital measures with conventional clinical assessments is likely to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of patients.
