看護婦の「バーンアウト」と「共依存」傾向に関する研究

The Relationship between “Burn-out” and “Co-dependency” in Nursing Staff

　看護婦の「バーンアウト」と「共依存」傾向との関係を調査する目的で，宮崎県内の病院に勤務する看護婦1,370人を対象にバーンアウト・スコアおよびケアテイカークイズを用いて検討を行ない，さらに一般事業所に勤務する女性事務職員1,247人のそれとの比較検討を行なった。その結果，看護婦では事務職に比較して「バーンアウト」の状態にある者が有意に多く認められ，また「健全」から「バーンアウトの徴候」そして「バーンアウトに陥っている」となるにつれて「共依存」傾向が強まることが明らかになった。ただし，このような「バーンアウト」と「共依存」傾向との関係は看護婦のみならず事務職においても同様に認められたことから，「共依存」傾向の緩和は看護婦ばかりでなく，一般の人々のメンタルヘルスの向上にも寄与することが示唆された。

　This study examined the relationship between “burn-out” and “co-dependency” in nursing stuff.

　The subjects were 1,370 nurses working in a hospital in Miyazaki Prefecture and 1,247 women office workers as control.

　All subjects were evaluated by “Burn out score” and “Care Taker Quiz”.

　The results were as follows.

1) Many nurses were in a state of burn-out compared to office workers.

2) Co-dependency Score in nurse and office worker was not different from each other.

3) High co-dependency was recognized in the person who was near a state of burn-out both of nurse and office worker.

　On this account, relaxing co-dependency is effective in the improvement of mental health of not only nurses but of general people as well.
