I．緒言

　副鼻腔嚢胞は比較的頻度の高い疾患であり，最近増加の傾向にある^1,2）。嚢胞の成因から考えると，術後性，外傷性，特発性（原発性）の三つに分類される。今回われわれは副鼻腔嚢胞症例のうち副鼻腔手術や外傷などの既往を有しない原発性嚢胞症例を中心に，術後性嚢胞症例との比較において臨床的に検討し，若干の考察を加えた。

　Clinical studies was done in 60 patients with cysts in the paranasal sinuses during a 9-years' period.

　Out of 60 cases, 22 were classified as idiopathic cysts, which were not related to any previous operations or injuries of the paranasal sinuses.

　Twenty-two patients with idiopathic cysts were studied comparing with 38 patients with post-operative cysts, concerning of symptoms, sites of cyst, diagnosis, and operative methods.
