I．はじめに
最近鼻副鼻腔真菌症の報告例が増加しているが，本邦での蝶形骨洞真菌症の報告は4例にすぎない。われわれは左蝶形骨洞に限局したアスペルギルス症の1例を経験したのでこれを報告し，4例の蝶形骨洞真菌症症例とともにその臨床像をまとめた。
A case of isolated involvement of the sphenoid sinus by aspergillosis is described. A woman aged 37 complained of headache for two years, bloody post nasal discharge and sore throat for three months.
Rhinoscopy showed a hemorrhagic polyp in the left olfactory cleft, and x-ray studies revealed opacity in the left sphenoid and ethmoid sinuses.
Because of suspicion of a malignant tumor of the left sphenoid sinus, endonasal ethmoidectomy and sphenoidectomy were done.
A dark brown mass in the sphenoid sinus was proved to be aspergillus by histopathological examination.
The patient remained asymptomatic for seven months.
