頭頸部扁平上皮癌に対するVCR，BLM，MTX，5FU多剤併用療法の検討

Multidrug Chemotherapy for Advanced and Recurrent Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Head and Neck

I．はじめに

　頭頸部扁平上皮癌の治療の主役は，手術・放射線療法であるが，進展癌の治療に関してはいまだよい成績が挙げられていない。近年，手術不能例やstage II，IVの進展した症例に対し，放射線治療，手術療法の前に化学療法を行い，腫瘍の制御をしようとする，いわゆるanterior chemotherapyが試みられ，従来に比べよい成績が報告されつつある。

　今回著者らは，進展癌の治療成績の向上を目指し，VCR，MTX，BLM，5FUによる多剤併用療法につき検討を行い，若干の知見を得たので報告する。

　Thirteen patients (4 untreated, 9 previously treated) with advanced and recurrent squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck received multidrug chemotherapy consisting of vincristine, bleomycin, methotrexate and 5-fluorouracil.

　Seven (54%) patients responded to the therapy, and 3 of these patients had a complete response. In 4 previously untreated patients, 2 had a complete response and 2 had a partial response.

　One patient survived for more than two years after receiving three courses of this regimen and radical radiation therapy.
