I．はじめに

　咽頭に発生する先天性の腫瘤に関する報告は非常に少ない。

　最近当科において，左後口蓋弓より有茎性に発生し，下咽頭に達する巨大な腫瘤を摘出し，病理組織学的検査の結果，耳介に類似した形態を有するため，咽頭に発生した副耳と見做されうる珍しい症例を経験したので報告する。

An 1-year-old female presented a large pedun-culated mass in the pharynx. She had dysphagia and stridor all her life, and was suspected of aspira-tion pneumonia. The mass was excised intraorally. The pedunculated mass originated from the pos-terior arch and the upper pole of the left tonsil was removed and the surgical specimen was 6.5 × 3.8 × 0.5 cm and consisted of cartilaginous tissue with skin, resembling auricle. The literature of aberrant inclusion of embryonal auricle germ in the pharynx was reviewed.
