I．はじめに
上皮小体嚢胞はまれな疾患とされ，頸部腫瘤として臨床上問題になる大きさのものは比較的少ない。今回，我々は上縦隔内に進展した甲状腺嚢腫と考えて手術を行ったが，上皮小体嚢胞であった1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて，報告する。
Large parathyroid cyst is a rare occurrence, and only 38 cases were reported in Japan.
A 47-year-old female with a mass in her neckwas suspected of a thyroid cyst. After surgery this mass was diagnosed as parathyroid cyst histopathologically. It was difficult to know the difference between thyroid cyst and parathyroid one before operation.
This paper described the pathogenesis, the clinical features and the diagnosis before surgery concerning parathyroid cyst.
