　I．はじめに

　前頭洞嚢腫に対しキリアン手術は現在広く行われている。また，副鼻腔疾患と眼窩合併症についてはこれまでも多くの論義がされてきたが，手術後の複視についての詳細な報告は少ない^1,2）。今回筆者らが，昭和52年6月から昭和54年11月までに，当科においてキリアン手術を施行した15例（16側）に対し，術後経過についてのアンケート調査を実施すると共に，術後検診を施行したところ，12例（13側）がアンケートに応じ，そのうち9例（10側）が来院して検診を受けた。そこで，経過観察可能であった9例（10側）に対し，耳鼻科的・眼科的検索を加えたので報告する。

Postoperative course of 9 cases underwent Killian's operation for frontal sinus mucocele or pyocele were investigated rhinologically and ophthalmologically.

　Preoperative symptoms such as pain of the forehead, local swelling and exophthalmus were improved after the operation. The forced truction test revealed resistance for passive ocular movement in 4 cases, but one case out of them complained of diplopia. It suggested that eye movement was disturbed by the mechanical origin which may be caused by damage of the trochlear nerve or orbital inflamation. To avoid this trouble, the importance of chemotherapy and careful operation are emphasized.
