　I．はじめに

　口腔内に発生する腫瘤形成性疾患は比較的稀で，その多くが乳頭腫，血管腫などの良性腫瘍である。炎症による腫瘤形成性疾患としては結核腫，ゴム腫などの特異性肉芽腫があるが，近年ではほとんどみられなくなつている。最近私どもは口腔内に発生した非特異性肉芽腫の5症例を経験し，これらの肉芽腫の発生部位の病変から成因が推測されたので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Five cases of non-specific granuloma in the oral cavity are reported. Four of 5 granulomas were confined to the buccal region between the upper and lower dental arches. One granuloma occurred in the apical region of the tongue. A carious tooth was always noted in the dental arch adjacent to the granuloma. It is strongly assumed that the decayed tooth stimulated mechanically the buccal mucosa and subsequently induced the granulation tissue, forming the granuloma. As for the treatment of the granuloma, extirpation was desirable along with the treatment of dental caries. Differential diagnosis from several massforming diseases in the oral cavity is briefly discussed.
