Ⅰ．緒言
気管原発の良性腫瘍は稀であるが，中でも神経鞘腫は，内外文献上においても数例の報告があるにすぎない。今回われわれは外科的に腫瘍を摘出，現在経過良好な本症例の1例を経験したので報告する。
Tumors of the trachea are rare, and especially the occurrence of neurilemmoma in the trachea is extremely rare.
A 65-year-old female was admitted with complaints of severe respiratory distress and asthmatic wheezing aggravated in past 2 years. As this patient had been treated as bronchial asthma, the final diagnosis of tumor of the trachea was not established for 2 years after the onset of symptoms.
The overpenetrated x-ray films, tomogram and endoscopy were very important to make the definitive diagnosis.
Tracheotomy was done on the 3rd tracheal ring, and then an incision for removal of the tumor was placed on the 1st through 3rd tracheal ring. The tumor, well pedunculatecl arising from the posterior wall of the 1st and 2nd tracheal ring, was removed successfully. The tumor was proved to be neurilemmoma histologically. No subsequent complications and recurrence were observed in next 6 months.
The literature was reviewed, and the management of tracheal tumors was discussed.
