　I．はじめに

　エナメル上皮腫はエナメル器に類似した組織構造を示す歯系腫瘍で，口腔領域の腫瘍としては癌についで多いとされるが^1）2），耳鼻咽喉科の日常診療で遭遇することは比較的稀である。

　本腫瘍は組織学的に良性腫瘍とされるが，その発生や分類について現在でも議論があり，臨床的にも強い破壊性や高い再発率を有し稀には転移をみることなどから，治療上悪性腫瘍に準じて扱われることが多い^1）3）4）。

　われわれは最近，上顎に発生したエナメル上皮腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A case with the ameloblastoma who complained of nasal obstruction and bloody rhinorrhea was reported.

　A haemorrhagic mass was observed in the left nostril and an oroantral fistula was apparent in the left upper molar region. The X-ray findings of the nose revealed homogenous opacity in the left maxillary and ethmoidal sinus with an expansion of the nasoantral wall. According to the clinical diagnosis of malignant neoplasm of the left maxillary sinus. The tumor was removed after the treatments with external irradiation and intraarterial chemotherapy. The histopathological findings of the tumor showed ameloblastoma.
