IgA産生鼻咽腔形質細胞腫—本邦における統計的観察

NASOPHARYNGEAL PLASMACYTOMA WITH FINDINGS OF IgA

　I．緒言

　髄外性形質細胞腫は比較的稀な疾患であるが，上部気道に発生することが多いため耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告は比較的多く，本邦では30数例を認めている。しかしながらこれらのうち，腫瘍細胞の産生する免疫グロブリンの型や，腫瘍細胞の電子顕微鏡像についての報告はきわめて少ない。

　われわれは鼻咽腔形質細胞腫症例を経験し，腫瘍抽出液よりIgA（α₂λ₂）産生と確認することができた。さらにまた腫瘍の電子顕微鏡所見も観察できたので，この症例の梗概を述べるとともに，形質細胞腫について本邦における耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告を統計学的に観察したので併せて報告する。

　A woman, aged 40, was found to be affected with a nasopharyngeal plasmacytoma. The tumor was completely removed by an operative approach employing a combined route through the palate and the maxillary sinus. The growth was completely removed. Six months after the operation the patient is fairing well with no signs of recurrence.

　Immunoglobulin was extracted from the growth; the examination of this extract revealed IgA (α₂, λ₂); however, no increase blood IgA was recognized.
