I．はじめに
妊娠・産褥に引続いて耳鳴，難聴が発現したり，またそれを機として以前よりあつた耳鳴，難聴が増悪する場合があることは古くからよく知られた事実である。しかし，実際臨床において多数の難聴患者を観察していると，この種の難聴は有名である割にはかなりまれであることがわかる。われわれの統計では（村井，1968），聴力障害者1330例，感音難聴者847例中4例であつた。本症の成因については，特に耳硬化症との関連において検討されたものが多いが，その発生機転に関してはなお未だ十分に解明されたとはいえない。われわれは過去6年間に8例の本症々例を経験したので，その特徴などについて報告し若干の考察を加えてみた。
Eight cases of perceptive deafness apparently related to pregnancy or puerperium observed during the recent 6 years at the Department of Otolaryngology, Iwate Medical University, are reported. The deafness in all cases developed after the puerperium; 6 cases were involved with a chronic type, 1 case that of acute and the other, repetitious.
Of the 6 chronic cases, three had siblings. Near family members affected with perceptive deafness was found in three patients.
It appeared that the hereditary factor of deafness to have been provoked by the puerperium in the cases of chronic types.
The deafness in one case of acute type may have been provoked, likewise, by the puerperium.
