　Ⅰ．緒言

　喉頭に発生する嚢胞はさして珍しい疾患ではないが，その多くは喉頭蓋周辺にみられるもので，声帯に発生する例はきわめて少なく，本邦において今日まで，わずかに20例前後の報告をみるにすぎない。

　最近われわれは声帯に発生した2例の上皮嚢胞を経験したので報告する。

Two cases of epithelial cyst of the vocal cord are reported. In one case the cyst was located on the left vocal cord of a man, aged 48 and the other, it occurred on the right vocal cord in a man, aged 49.

Both cases complained of persistent cough for a considerable period of time.

Microscopically, both cysts were characterized by presenting a smooth surface appearance and soft outer wall; no peduculation at the site of their attachment was found.
