　Ⅰ．緒言

　副鼻腔に見られる悪性腫瘍のうち，肉腫は比較的まれとされている。その多くは上咽頭のリンパ組織から発生し，後方から副鼻腔内に侵入して起こる場合のものである。

　また骨肉腫は数多く報告されているが，多くは長管骨より発生したものであって，年長者においての副鼻腔の骨肉腫の報告はきわめてまれである。

　A case of osteosarcoma that involved the posterior portion of the ehtmoid sinus is reported. The patient was a woman, aged 49. The diagnosis was established by post mortem examination. Osteosarcoma involving the nasal region is indeed rare, there were only 10 cases reported in the literature of this country in the period of 41 years from 1926 to 1967. The diagnosis of this condition during the life of the patient is almost impossible due to the fact that the biopsy picture of the tissue study would be so bizarre.
