Ⅰ．はじめに
臨床用語音聴力検査は，次のような目的の下につくられている。
1）純音聴力検査とちがうこと，どのようにちがうかを確認すること，2）純音検査で得られない診断および治療上の資料を得ること，3）日常生活上の障害度の判定に役立つ。
A PB-list in Japanese was constructed by making a phonemic analysis of the sound structure of the spoken Japanese. In Japa-nese it is impossible to construct a table of monosyllable words which in themselves contain any expressive meaning, therefore, in order to overcome such an handicap 2 sets of disyllable words made up of 50 in each were chosen.
For making speech reception threshold test 4 syllable words were used; individual word in this list was selected upon similar co-nditions with which English words are sele-cted for this purpose.
The results of the speech hearing test made in this way appeared to be similar to the published results made in English.
