幼児聴力相談室を訪れた精神薄弱児の聴力—幼児聴力相談室（第3報）

　Ⅰ．緒言

　我々の幼児聴力相談室を訪れる相談者の内精神薄弱に原因する言語障害児の多い事は先に述べたが^11），これら精神薄弱児の聴力検査は困難な事が多く我々を悩ますものの一つである。特に4, 5歳以下の幼児の塲合今迄は特定の場合を除き測定不可能ではなかつたかと思われる。我々はこれら精神薄弱児に対しても驚愕反応聴力測定（startle response audiometry）^5）13），条件詮索反射聴力測定（COR audiometry）^{9）10）13）}，遊戯聴力測定（play audiometry）^3）更に睡眠時聴性瞳孔反応^7）及び脳波聴力測定^13）等により聴力測定を行つている。今回は昭和35年9月より昭和37年1月迄に相談室を訪れた237名の内白痴性唖19名，白痴性構音障害33名，脳性小児麻痺3名，モンゴリスムス2名，合計57名についての観察成績を報告し諸賢の御教示をお願いする次第である。

　尚睡眠時聴性瞳孔反応と他の測定法による結果との関係，更に脳波聴力測定の結果等については他に報告する予定であるからここではstartle response audiometry, COR audiometry及びplay audiometryにより得られた知見についてのみ論ずる事にする。

Hearing tests by means of play-, cor-and startle-response-audiometry were conducted among 57 children below the age 7, who were menatlly difficient. The applicability of the tests play-and cor-audiometry in te-sting these children was definitely lower in value when compared to normal children at the level of equal mental development. The threshold hearing among the mentally deffi-cient compared to normal children by actual age was lowered by 4 to 7 db; by mental, age, however, each group agreed with the other.
