　緒言

　我々は3歳以下の幼児に対する純音聴力測定法として条件詮索反射聴力測定（以下COR-testと記載する）^{4）5）6）8）}を考案し，昭和35年1月より2，3の発表を行って来たが，その適応年齢は満3歳より満1歳迄である。適応年齢内に於ける幼児の測定値は相当信頼出来，臨床的に優れた方法であると考えられるが，満1歳以下ではその測定可能率が急激に減少している。1歳以下の乳幼児に対しても簡便な臨床的方法が必要である事は当然である。私は1歳未満の乳幼児の聴力測定を目的として，従来のCOR-test装置に改良を加え検討した所，以下述べる如く適応年齢の下限をかなり引下げ，1歳未満児の測定も可能となつたので報告する。

By adding an improvement to what is known as the conditioned orientation reflex audiometry a hearing test that concerns in-fants less than 1 year of age, tests were carried out in 100 infants below the age of 5months.In the initial test the rate of test-possibility among infants 8 months or older was 80%,from 6 to 7 months 52.4 % and in those who were from 4 to 5 months of age it was 11% In normal hearing infants the average hearing threshold was 37.5 db in infants aged 4 to 5 months,31.6 db in thoseaged 6 to 7 months,27.3 db in those aged 8 to 9 months,25.9 db in those 10 to 11 months and 22.3 db in those aged from 12 to 17 months.When the present method of testing was compared to that of startle response audiometry the difference between the two was no more than ± 5 db in 69.2% of cases.
