トロスチンの副鼻腔炎手術時止血効果について

　I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域の手術は一般に術野が狭くその中で細かい操作を行わねばならぬ場合が多い。その上硬組織に囲まれていて止血鉗子で簡単に止め得る場合は極めて少いので一旦出血が多いとなると手術に難渋するのが普通である。従つて手術に際して術者が常に出血予防の対策に腐心する事は他科領域の人とは比較にならぬものがある。

　手術時出血に対しては，局所止血剤としてアドレナリン，ピロゾン，トロンビン等が日常使用されているが，術前にもトロンブリン，アドナ，カチーフ，マネトール等の止血剤を投与して出血予防を計つている。それでも多量の出血に悩まされる場合も少くない。従つて耳鼻科医は新しい止血剤に対して特に高い関心を持つていると思われる。吾々は今回中外製薬より止血剤トロスチンの提供を受けてその効果を調査したので報告する。

A new intravenous hemostatic agent Thro-stin will show a marked shortening of blee-ding as well as coagulation time 10 minutes after its administration ; this effect, howe-ver, will completely disappear 3 hours later.

The effect of throstin was tested in the same patient in radical operation of nasal sinuses namely, with the use of drug at one sitting and without in the other, the amount of bleeding was markedly less with the use of the drug than without. Throstin appear to be supeiior without an equal as a hemo-static age-nt when compared to other throm-boplastin products. No side effects were noted in its use.
