　I．緒言

　古来手術領域に於て出血量を減らす為局所浸潤麻酔剤にアドレナリンの如き血管収縮剤を添加する事は常識である。

　唯アドレナリンの過量による副作用を考慮して局麻剤10ccに1滴という少量を用いているのが常である。

By employing relatively a larger amount of adrenalin than heretofore used, the mount of hemorrhage during operation of chronic sinusitis has been reduced to approximately 1/2 the usual. To 10cc of 0.5% xylocain lcc of adrenalin is added. The side effect of this increased amount of adrenalin would be shown immediately by extreme palor of the facial features. But this effect will dis-appear within 30 minutes after the injection. Other than such a pallor no complications were noted.
