鼻・副鼻腔炎に対する「Minathol-P」の使用経験

ADMINISTRATION OF MINATHOL-P IN NASAL SINUSITIS

　Ⅰ．はじめに

　鼻副鼻腔炎に対する保存的療法は，鼻腔，副鼻腔粘膜の炎症性腫脹および膿性，粘液性分泌物の病的排泄を緩解させることが目的で，従来よりこのためいろいろの方法がとられてきたが，最近は酵素化学の発展に伴いわが科領域の治療にも，従来の手術療法，化学療法とあいまつて蛋白分解酵素が応用されるようになつた。著者らは今回ミナト製薬KKより蛋白分解酵素Minathol-Pの提供をうけ，臨床的に使用する機会を得たので，ここにその結果を報告し御参考に供する。

　本剤はproteaseとして1カプセル中prozyme 15mg，pancreatin 20mgを粒状としてenteric coatingしてある。このprozymeはアスペルギルス・メレウスを特殊培養し産生された酵素を精製抽出し，低温で真空乾燥し粉末としたもので強力な蛋白分解力を有する至適水素イオン濃度pH 8.0なるalkali proteaseである。

　For treatment of sinusitis Minathol-P, which is essentially a protease dispensed in the form of enteric coated tablet containing in each 15 mg prozyme and 20 mg pancreatin, was administered for the period of 1 month. A total of 49 cases of sinusitis, consisting of 25 cases of chronic sinusitis, 11 cases of postoperative treatment, 10 cases of acute sinusitis and 3 cases of chronic rhinitis were treated. In 5 cases the agent was markedly effective; it was moderately so in 27 cases but no change was seen in 17 cases. In 3 cases there were side-effects.
