萎縮性鼻炎手術（上顎下甲介整形法）成績の検討

　I．まえがき

　萎縮性鼻炎の治療はわれわれ耳鼻科医にとつて困難なものの1つであつて，数多くの方法が発表されている。これらの中最も効果のある合理的方法は久保式上顎下甲介整形法であつて，その手術成績は多くの人によつて報告されている。われわれは最近8年間，北村教授により主に北村式変法で手術された萎縮性鼻炎患者の遠隔成績を調査し，手術成績に影響を及ぼす因子について臨床的検討を加えた。

The over-all result of the treatment of at-rophic rhinitis, for the period of past 8 years, by operative method of Kubo's turbino-maxillo plasty as modified Kitamura, proved to be ef-fective in 76.6% of cases.

There were no treatment failures in types II and Ic of atrophic rhinitis ; failures were quite ofen met with in type la, b that occur-red in women who were affected with ab-normal internal secretions. These women were examined with functional test of inte-rnal secretion.

The operative results were not necessarily related to the degree to which atrophic rhin-itis was established.

Other physical measures should be consid-ered for those cases in whom the treatment was a failure.
