レシーバー装用者に見られる職業性難聴について

　I．緒言

　近年通信工学及びそれに関係ある種々の事業の発展に伴い，むしろ耳の機能の生理的な状態でない，受話器を用いて音を聴くという機会，又はそれを以て職業とする人が増加して来つつある。私共は先年来数多くの職業性難聴者に接して来ているが，その中に少数例ではあるが，そのような受話器を用いて音を聴く事を以て職業とするものに起つた難聴を見て来ている。そこで私共はこの機会にそれら症例の概観を報告し，受話器音によつて起る難聴の特長について述べ，一方そのような職業に従事する人に対する警告ともし，又私共自身の今後に於けるこの方面での研究の一つの基点ともしたいと考えるものである。

Seven cases of inner ear deafness that was found in persons whose occupation con-sisted of hearing sounds through reciever are reported. By study of these case, it was found that the present type of hearing loss has several characteristic features quite ap-art from those of the ordinary types of in-ner ear hearing loss. The authors designate the condition by the term, "reciever deaf-ness" and propose a further enquiry into the subject.
