　緒言

　原発性気管腫瘍は比較的少ないが，就中，気管線維腫は稀有なるものとされている。

　しかし，文献上の記載は古く，Knight及びBunting^7）によれば，1967年Lieutaudが此の腫瘍の剖検例を記載している。本邦に於ては，われわれが調査した範囲内では3例の文献上口演の記載があるのみである。最近われわれは過去4ヵ年間喘息及び肺結核の診断のもとに治療を受けた興味ある気管線維腫の1症例に遭遇したので茲に報告する。

Suzuki and associates reporta case of tra-cheal fibroma a condition that appear to be exceedingly rare in occurrence. There has been only 41 cases of tracheal fibroma repor-ted in the literature since Lieutand, When in 1767 reported his case as the first.

The patient,a man aged 54, was treated at several hospitals. for the period of 4 years, with diagnosis of asthma and suffered severe dyspnea during the while. Bronchoscopic examination revealed tracheal tumor and its exact position was confirmed by X-ray. Sur-gical removal of the tumor which measured 3.8×2.6×7.6 cm in its dimensions was effect; microscopic examination showing it to be a fibroma. The patient made an une-ventful recovery in 20 days of hospitalization freed from his dyspneic symptoms.
