進行性壞疽性鼻炎の1治験例

　緒言

　進行性壊疽性鼻炎は1917年Kaufmannにより始めて報告されて以来，最近の本間，稲見の本邦症例集計に至るまで内外に多数の報告がみられるが，発生原因に就いては尚，種々の説があり，且甚だ予後不良の疾患の一つとされている。我々は今回，打撲傷が誘因と思われる一症例に遭遇し，種々なる治療法を適用した結果，幸いに全治せしめ得たので，ここに先人の症例に追加報告する次第である。

Terayama and associates report a case of progressive necrotic rhinitis in whom the authors successfully obtained a recovery. The lesion in this case, a woman aged 22, appeared to have been established following a severe contusion recieved on the ridge of the nose, and, it was finally brought to cure by excision of the necrotic tissue followed by use of radium needles which were inserted for local application and parenteral use of nitromine. The use of antibiotics which appeared to be ineffective against the bac-teria that were found in the necrotic tissue before the operation seemed to take effect, after the operation, by preventing the onset of meningitis. However the authors believe that, etiologically, the relation between the lesion and the bacteria that are found therein appear to be very slight indeed.
