進行性壞疽性鼻炎の1例

　まえがき

　鼻腔または口腔より始り顔面中央，咽頭，口蓋に進行する潰瘍・壊疽を主徴候とし，全身衰弱，潰瘍よりの出血，敗血症，或は肺炎等の合併症を惹起し死亡する予後極めて不良なる疾患をいう。本症は1917年Kaufmannの報告以来多数の報告があるが，その呼称も報告者によりまちまちでGranuloma gangrenesens，Rhinogene Granulomatose，granulomatous ulcer of the nose and face，進行性壊疽性鼻炎，壊疽性肉芽腫，特発性壊疽性鼻炎，馬鼻疽類似症と呼ばれ，その本態については依然不明で治療法も確立されていないが，我々は局所の観血的療法は勿論強力な全身的療法を行つたにも拘らず，遂に死亡せる典型的な本症例を経験したのでその大要を報告する。

　Ono, Takeyama and Kimura report a case of progressive necrotic rhinitis in a woman aged 53. Various means of treatment such as the use of antibiotics, irracliation, surgery and cortisone are used but the patient died after 5 months of hospitalization.

　The authors state that antibiotics probably had done the most good in this case.

　On the histological examination this case is assumed as a sort of tumorous lesion.
