特發性壞疽性鼻炎に就て

　緒言

　進行性壞疽性潰瘍性鼻炎，特發性鼻壞疽，馬鼻疽類似症等種々なる名稱を以て呼ばれている鼻疾患は，昭和17年，神前，秦兩氏により，報告例よりの考察あり，その後更に數氏の報告もあり決して稀ならざる疾患であるが，依然としてその本態は不明，豫後もまた不良で，臨床醫家を惱ますことが決して尠くない．嘗て立木教授は「進行性壞疽性潰瘍と弛張熱とを呈する鼻腔肉腫症例」として數例を發表され，これ等の中には鼻肉腫も多數あることを注意されているが，最近著者は偶々本症の1治驗例を持つたので，茲にその經過の大要を報告しいささか考察を加えて見たい．

Tosabayashi says that although 1,200,000 units of penicillin had been given by intramuscular inje-ctions the course of symptoms of noma of the nose in a man 45 years of age had failed to res-pond to the treatment. Remission of the disease occurred only after complete exterpation of the diseased parts had been effected, which required two operations, and with supplementary radium irradiation given simultaneously.
