「耳鼻科領域における麻酔法に対する余等の考え」読後感

　本誌28巻8号西村義一氏の論文を拝見しての感想を述べたい。

　西村氏は以前ラボナール静脈麻酔を推奨しておられた（本誌26巻2号，12号）が，今回始めて気管内麻酔に言及され，「低血圧下気管内麻酔法を行つて満足すべき結果を得た」と述べている。これは氏の麻酔経験の成長を物語るものであつて当然の帰結である。私も麻酔については一度報告（耳鼻臨床49巻3号）したことがあるが，西村氏の論文について1, 2追加補足を加えてみたい。

Suyemitsu presents his points of discussion in connection to the paper on the subject of esthesia presented by Nishimura in the issue of Otolaryngology (Tokyo) Vol. 28, No. 8.

(1) With the use of Ravonal, which should be used as induction anesthesia, as the chief agent of anesthesia could not be agreed to.

(2) Best results may be attained as basic anesthesia when Wintamin, Opistan and Py-rethiazin are put to a combined use.

(3) It appears to be a dangerous project to attempt maintainance of lowered blood pres-sure in intratracheal anesthesia.

(4) It is desirous that major otolarygologi-cal operations such as that of malignancy and radical mastoid should be performed un-der intratracheal anesthesia be so established as to become a common sense knowledge to every Otolaryngologist.
