本症例は喉頭，甲状腺の悪性腫瘍の臨床的所見は認められず，病理組織学的に始めて甲状腺扁平上皮癌なる事を知り得た1例である。
Ichihara and associates report a case of epi-thelioma of the thyroid gland that failed to show any malignant swelling of the involved gland. The patient was treated for symptoms of sore throat of which he mostly complained of for a period of 1 1/2 years. However, after consulting the authors the patient soon died. The diagnosis of epithelioma of the thyroid gland was established by necropsy.
